About the Role
Do you want to manage a large retail store which is truly unique within it’s sector? Do you have the drive and passion to lead and motivate your store team to deliver the company mission of ‘inspiring everyone to get outdoors for less – and love it as much as we do’? Our Store Managers create an exceptional customer service culture by ensuring the Management team and Store Colleagues deliver excellent service and exceed customer expectations. We will give you the tools you need to be able to empower you and your team to drive a sales culture in which our customers are confident they are purchasing what they need to get the most from their adventure!
As our business is incredibly fast paced, we look for store managers with a proven track record of having a ‘hands on’ approach. You will need to have had experience of creating and leading high performing teams to include all aspects of recruitment, performance and talent management. You should have a pro-active nature when it comes to solving problems and the ability to challenge the accepted way of doing things when you see improvements can be made.
Our Store Managers are brand ambassadors for GO, who grow the retail brand in the local community by engaging with groups and schools.
